Material
Body and ball stud BS. 970 230M07Pb leaded low carbon steel equivalent SAE 12L14, 95 Mn Pb 28K, tensile strength 430-500N/mm2, 60,000-72,000psi.
Liner Nylon.
Protective Finish
Zinc plated and yellow passivated. The assembly is lubricated.
Details
- Based on DIN 71802 and 71803.
- The Nylon liner provides long life and an ultra smooth bearing surface.
- Optional polychloroprene gaiter available to help resist dirt ingress.
- Fitted gaiter is available upon request.
- The AM Ball Joint is also available without the ball stud allowing assembly on to a pre-positioned stud. Compatible studs are shown in Threaded Ball Studs and Rivetting Ball Studs.
- Spanner flats on ball studs and bodies facilitate assembly.
- Burnished ball for smoother operation.
